(4)The intern shall be trained practically with the following activities during the period of internship:-(a)training in pulse analysis, urology, stool examination, laboratory examination, case taking, investigations, diagnosis and management of common diseases by Sowa-Rigpa;(b)personalised treatment of patient through long term examination along with treatment methods such as dietary, behavioural management, balances in daily routines;(c)diagnosis of paediatric disorders through examining the nerves on ears of children, analysing the urine of children, analysing the vomit and treatment of diseases through diet and medicine;(d)diagnosis of gynaecological disorders through sensing pulse, analysing urine, interrogation, looking at the patient and touching the patient's body;(e)training of surgical treatment such as golden needle therapy, healing through copper cupping, use of Moxabustion, venesuction (bloodletting), preparation of medicinal bath, mild massage therapy and spring water therapy;(f)management of certain ailments such as fractures and dislocations, management of minor cuts, internal and external wounds;(g)training in actual application of five therapies in sequence as follow:-(i)actual application of oil therapy and preparation of different oil required as per the nature of disorder;(ii)training in application of purgation, understanding the time of purgation;(iii)training in application of nasal therapy and understanding the compounding of main and other formulations of nasal therapy;(iv)basis on which mild enema should be applied; different types of compounds for mild enema and methods of administrating mild enema and its benefit;(v)actual administration channel cleansing in accordance with suitable place and season; signs of successful channel cleansing.
