17. Coming to the sentence, the learned counsel
prayed for reducing the substantive sentence of
imprisonment by citing the decisions in Mahadev v.
State of M.P. [2006 KHC 2898]; Manish Jalan v. State
of Karnataka [2008 (3) KHC 380] and Palliyalil Sidique
v. State of Kerala [2013 (3) KHC 302] .
