The Tribunal while disposing of the OA (963/2019)) on 06.02.2020 06.02.20 adopted the ratio laid down by Hon'ble Supreme Court in the State of M.P. Vs. Mohan Lal Sharma reported in SCC (2002) (N&S) 1109 that the date of birth recorded in matriculat matriculation ion certificates carried a greater evidential value than that contained in a certificate given by the retired Headmaster of the school or in the horoscope. Based on th this judgement,, the Tribunal expressed that date of birth of the applicant given in the matriculation certificate sshould hould have been given greater value and directed the respondents to re re-examine examine the claim of the applicant by placing it before the CRC without influence of the impugned order.
