1. Short title applicability and commencement.
- (i) These rules may be called the Andhra Pradesh Language Pandit Training Colleges (Regulation of Admissions into Pandit Training courses through Common Entrance Test) Rules, 2007.2. Definitions.
- (i) In these rules, unless the context to otherwise requires:3. Allotment of Seats.
- (i) University /Government /Private aided Pandit training Colleges:- All the sanctioned intake of seats in pandit training Courses in the University /Government /Private aided Pandit Training Colleges shall be filled by the Convener, LPCET Admissions. Such seats shall be allotted to the eligible candidates on the basis of rank obtained in LPCET by following the provisions of Rule 6 and Rules of Reservation as laid down in Rule 7 hereunder.(ii)Un-Aided Non-Minority and Minority Pandit Training Colleges:-(a)The seats allotted in each Unaided Non-Minority and Minority Pandit Training Colleges and these Rules for admission of Candidates shall be classified as:4. 5. Method of Admission.
- The general guidelines for the admission of candidates into the pandit training colleges offering pandit training Course shall be as follows:6. Procedure of Admissions.
- (i) Each Unaided Institution which has opted for LPCET under the Andhra Pradesh Conduct of Language Pandit Common Entrance Test for Admission into Pandit Training Course Rules, 2006 shall indicate in writing to the AFRC within the cut-off date specified by the AFRC, as to whether the college would admit students through the Single Window System to be operated by the Convener of LPCET Admissions (LPCET Window) or the Convener of LPCET-AC Admissions (LPCET-AC) Window).(ii)For the purpose of admissions, all the institutions shall be divided into three groups viz.,| 1. 7. Rules of Reservation for admission.
- All the seats in the University Colleges/Government/Aided and Category-A seats in Unaided Non-Minority/Minority Pandit Training Colleges shall be reserved to the following categories:(i)Region-wise reservation of seats. - Admission to 85% of the seats shall be reserved for the local candidates and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be un-reserved seats as specified in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations and Admissions) Order, 1974 as subsequently amended.Explanation. - For purpose of these rules:-(A)Local Areas means| Group 'A' | - | 7% |
