Note. - All varieties & species of above flowers shall be included in the Schedule.]Notifications[Notification No. 3240-4753-XIV-I, dated 17th May, 1973.] - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of Section 1 of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973), the State Government hereby appoints 1st June, 1973, as the date on which the said Adhiniyam shall come into force.[Notification No. 3242-4753-XIV-I, dated 17th May, 1973.] - In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (f) of sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973), the State Government hereby empowers the officers mentioned in Col. 2 of the Schedule below to exercise the powers and perform the functions of the Director under the provisions specified in Col. 3 of the said schedule :-

[Notification No. 4707-6929-XIV-I, dated 4th August, 1973.] - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 40 of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973), the State Government hereby establishes the Madhya Pradesh State Agricultural Marketing Board with effect from the 1st June, 1973.[Notification No. 2131-9027-XIV-I, dated 19th April, 1974.] - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 20 of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973), the State Government hereby empowers Secretaries of all Market Committees for the purposes of the said sub-section.[Notification No. 2127-9027-XIV-I, dated 19th April, 1974.] - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 20 of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973), the State Government hereby empowers Secretaries of all Market Committees for the purposes of the said sub-section.[Notification No. 2121-9027-XIV-I, dated 19th April, 1974.] - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 23 of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973), the State Government hereby empowers the officers and servants of Market Committees specified in the Schedule below to exercise powers under the said section.

[Notification No. 655-5831-XIV-III, dated 17th May, 1974.] - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 65 of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973), the State Government hereby delegates to the Director of Marketing, Madhya Pradesh the powers conferred on it by sub-section (2) of Section 9, sub-sections (3), (5), (6) and (7) of Section 17, sub-section (2) of Section 27, Section 29, sub-section (1) of Section 55 and Section 59 of the said Adhiniyam.[Notification No. D-16-1-84-XIV-III, dated 4th April, 1989.] - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973), and in supersession of this Department Notification No. D-16-1-84-XIV-III, dated the 4th July, 1985 and D-16-1-84-XIV-III, dated the 30th June, 1986, the State Government hereby, in respect of the Market Committees mentioned in column (2) of the Schedule below specifies,-(1)the total number of members in column (3);(2)number of representatives of Agriculturists in column (4);(3)number of representatives of traders in column (5); and(4)number of other members who shall be nominated in accordance with clauses (c), (d), (e), (f), (g) and (h) of sub-section (1) of Section 11 of the Act, in column (6).

[Notification No. D-15-34-2000-XTV-3, dated 4th April, 2001.] - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 69 of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973) the State Government hereby exempts the seeds from levy of market fees subject to the following conditions from the date of publication of this notification in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette, namely:1. On sale, export or import of seeds which are certified sealed or packed under Section 9 of the Seeds Act, 1966 by Seed Certification Agencies notified under Section 8 of the said Act, by a dealer having a valid licence under Section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and the Seeds Control Order, 1983.
2. On purchase of certified seeds by the licensed dealer as specified in para 1, only from the seed growers outside market yard with whom he may have entered into an advance agreement for the seed production.
3. On transportation of seeds purchased from seed growers, outside market area without the permission of Market Committee which have been certified, sealed and packed by the Seed Certification Agency.
[Notification No. D-15-24-2000-XIV-3, dated 19-6-2003.] - In exercise of powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 19 of Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973), the State Government hereby levies market fee at the rate of two rupees for every one hundred rupees of the price on fruits and vegetables in the market area of the following Market Committees :

2. The Madhya Pradesh State Agriculture Marketing Development Board shall allocate 85 percent of the receipts obtained under Schedule-one to the "Farmer's Road Fund" and remaining 15 percent to the "Agriculture Research and Infrastructure Development Fund" in such manner as may be prescribed in notifications issued by the State Government from time to time.
3. This notification shall come into force with effect from the date of publication in the "Madhya Pradesh Gazette".
[Notification No. D-15-24-2000-XIV-3, dated 24-4-2003.] - In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 69 of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972 (No. 24 of 1973), the State Government hereby exempts from the payment of market fees on sugarcane in the State with effect from 1st May, 2003 to 30th April, 2005.
